The bunad is an important part of Norwegian cultural heritage, with strong traditions connected to materials, patterns and craftsmanship. Iren Gjøse works with bunads through making, adjustments and restoration. Festive garments and embroidery projects are also developed where there is room for a more individual expression.

 

For bunad with established traditions, great importance is placed on authentic execution and respect for the historical expression, form, and handmade details. The work is carried out in Norway using materials from Norwegian suppliers.
