About Iren Gjøse

Iren Gjøse creates timeless garments shaped by material knowledge, craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for unique textiles. Each piece reflects a personal expression, careful design and respect for lasting quality.

With a childhood in Lofoten and Rogaland, the expression is shaped by a connection to nature, tradition and the cultural heritage of Norwegian materials.​ Tekstile work have been part of the family history for at least five generations.

Knowledge and curiosity have been passed down through generations and continue to influence the work today. ​Iren Gjøse works primarily with carefully selected vintage and antique textiles, creating garments where history, design and craftsmanship meet.​The focus is on unique pieces with character, quality and lasting value.​

Graduated from ESMOD Oslo in 1994 - Established in 1997.
